هناك حديث في رواية "اللص و الكلاب" لنجيب محفوظ يدور بين سعيد (الشخصية الرئيسية) و شيخ يلجأ اليه سعيد. يتساءل قائلا "هل تستطيع ان تقيم ظل شي معوج؟" فيرد عليه الشيخ "انا لا اهتم بالظلال." - ليس اقتباس يمثلني، و لكنك أضفتي الى سؤالك "نوعا ما"، لان الاقتباس يذكرني بأننا لا نحتاج الا ان نكونوا نحن و ان نحاول إصلاح نفسنا الحالية دون ان نهتم كثيراً بما يبدو للناس ان لم نكن قادرين على تغيير رأيهم فينا. الحديث يذكرني بأن المهم هو فعل الصواب حتى اذا بدا ظله جنون او معيب لغيرنا.

I prefer drama and character-focused movies. I also like European movies and low budget films that don't necessarily have more than a brilliant script.

What is your dream job?

My "dream" jobs (emphasis on dream) include owning an icecream shop, being a pilot, a preschool teacher, a psychoanalyst, a professional photographer.. And maybe a small time theater actress.
